You have some lovely hitting, and it shows in your pitching!
Not convinced with Ellis as your starting SS, though.

As for pitching, Patterson, Contreras, Haren & Capuano will be fine. I'm not a fan of Lowe, I think Millwood's numbers will suffer big-time in Texas, and Glavine is OK as an end-of rotation guy.

What I would try and do is see if some mug will remember that Millwood led the league in ERA last year, and trade you a closer for him!

Assuming that doesn't happen, I would look for help on the WW. Who's available?

I'm not so sure you would be able to get anything worth it for Beltran right now. I have a feeling that Beltran will have a better season this year, it looked like he was playing hurt for most of the year.

Shawn Chacon should be available in most leagues and I see him just picking up where he left off last year with the Yanks. Plus he will get 15 wins just by pitching behind that lineup.

I expect big things from Dan Haren. I'm not sold on your other SP. Who is available on Waivers? You're offense is solid. I'd be interested to see what round/position you took each player.

Nice overall.....SS needs an upgrade (Barmes usually available in the later rounds).....OF Encarcion (In STL) or Lofton (in LAD) would be better than Gonzo...I do think that Beltran will be much improved this year with the protection he has now. With exception of Haren, I think your pitching is weak accross the board. I would save the pick on Bay (a 1st or 2nd) and bolster that (Oswalt or Carpenter)....Definitely need some good closers...Valverde is not gonna last long and Fuentes is a good 2nd or 3rd closer.... Ray in Balt, or Dempster in CHC should be available in the middle to late rounds...Much better options if you cant get the Riveras or Lidges.
Also, Young in SD, Cain in SF, and Blanton in OAK are all strong 2nd starters for any Fantasy team...

upgrade SS please
Patterson,Millwood, and Haren may have trouble duplicating last year so don't be too comfy with this staff. Valverde/Fuentes may dissapoint too.
