If they're owned by a company (Chicago Tribune) you'd think they'd have more to spend on a good team. Bottom line takes first order.

See, If a team is owned by a company, i would think that's the worst that could happen. A company's entire purpose is to increase profits and shareholder wealth. Spending millions on baseball players doesn't make shareholders very happy.
