Oswalt...safe to trade for?

Postby warrick95 » Sun Jun 29, 2003 11:45 am

Is Roy Oswalt gonna be back to normal, or close to normal when he comes back off the DL? So, is he safe to make a trade for or will he be bothered by injuries and maybe even land back on the DL? I was thinking of trading Abreu and possibly a low-tiered reliever for him. Is that fair?

I have him and wish I didn't. This is his second tour of duty on the IL with the groin injury. Everyone knows that this type of injury is slow to heal and he may go right back to the IL.

If you can get him cheap, I'd go for it, but don't pay anywhere near his pre-season value. I just got him for Leiter+Looper last week.
