H2H makes a long season more exciting because of the matchups.

...not surprisingly we disagree on this as well. Roto all the way.
H2H for football - preferabally 2 matchups a week (Our league uses a 30 game schedule in 14 weeks. We play 3 games 2 of the weeks). Roto football sucks IMO.

I like head to head the best. Even though it is unfair, I like the matchups.

H2H!

Fantasy sports are ruled by the 50-50-90 rule...
Anytime you have a 50-50 pick between two players, 90% of the time, you'll get it wrong!

H2H is more realistic. The Yankees or Red Sox or whoever may have the best team on paper but that doesn't mean that they skip the whole season and give them the championship. Real teams have to matchup to other teams. That's why good teams lose to bad ones. It just happens.
Roto gives a true indication of who can put the best team together. So as far as stats go, Roto is better.
H2H is fun for talking trash and adds the luck element found in real life.

roto seems more like accounting. H2H is just more fun with the trash talken, season matchups and the fact that the leage can stay fun for all mangers like when a basement dweller knocks off #1 or changes the playoff picture. And o yea, the playoffs make H2H an easy winner.

I don't know about an easy winner. Actually you never know who will win once you get to the playoffs.
