20 team auction league, keeping 5. This was my first ever auction draft (might show with the bids, but Pujols went for like $80! This was a big auction in an FPM league (if you've heard of FPM)) $260 cap.
C - Rod Barajas $2 (hope he can put up some nice numbers in that park)
1B - Paul Konerko $40 (Solid second tier 1B, might have spent too much)
2B - Luis A Gonzalez $1 (Very cheap and solid option, plays at Coors as well as hits on the road)
3B - David Wright $51 (My stud player, but maybe overpaid?)
SS - Jhonny Peralta $32 (Probably one of my favorite picks, love Peralta in a keeper)
OF - Chad Tracy $7 (I like his potential)
OF - Pat Burrell $16 (Last year wasn't a fluke, right?)
OF - Torii Hunter $7 (Hopefully injury from last year doesn't slow him down)
Util/DH - Morgan Ensberg $24 (Last year would be a nice repeat season)
SP - John Patterson $11 (Nice value, stud potential)
SP - Cliff Lee $8 (Very good value IMO)
SP - Jarrod Washburn $2 (Cheap option for only $2)
SP - Josh Towers $2 (Like him for some reason)
SP - Ching-Ming Wang $2 (Maybe he can return to last year's form)
RP - Brad Lidge $40 (Stud closer I needed, was my only pitcher for a long time)
RP - Jorge Sosa $2 (Lots of potential)
RP - Joe Borowski $2 (Hope he closes)
RP - Chris Reistma $2 (See above)
Bench - Craig Monroe $2 (Led the Tigers in RBI last year, depth)
Brandon McCarthy $3 (Hopefully he starts for the Chi Sox)
Brad Eldred $1 (possible keeper, big HR possibilites)
Rocco Baldelli $1 (Thought he was a steal for $1 if he can reach his potential)
Dmitri Young $1 (Eligible at 3 spots, depth)
Anibal Sanchez $1 (Bad accident pick. I looked away for a few secs and my time ran out and they selected him. I will dump him ASAP)

I think I have a solid foundation here. Not a ton of huge stars on this team but a lot of potential. I don't think I did half bad for my first auction, maybe overbid in a few places but I like this team. I'm looking already to deal Tracy for a pitcher, since I have Rocco to move into his spot.
