I'm into Etopps. I like it. It's hard to see what the future holds for it, but I think it could be the future for sports cards.
By the way, it is no longer something you can make a quick profit off of. It is for the long term and just for the plain fun of collecting.

I'm going to have to take a look at it. I quit collecting in '97. I got tired of paying $200 for a box. Plus there were too many inserts. Most of them of the high dollar variety. I have practically every Ivan Rodriguez card from '88 (minor league cards) until '97. Then there were too many insert cards. Just couldn't see spending $1000 dollars for 20 or 30 cards.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
I've been doing it for a little while now, and I like it. It does bring the fun back into collecting, because you have the option to grab your favorite players at whatever price you want. I have made a little money off of it, but it is definitely something that has to be a long term investment. As long as you go into it from a collecting standpoint, rather than get rich quick, you'll enjoy it.
