Postby GSes » Sat Jun 28, 2003 11:59 pm

Well last week when Kent got hurt I went and picked up Cintron as a shor term replacement. This guy hade a great week and is having a great rookie year so far. Dont get me wrong, Im not about to trade Kent or anything all im saying is I believe he is teh real deal and today he even got a SB.

Cintron

Postby nhandy007 » Sun Jun 29, 2003 3:42 am

I've got Cintron in a keeper league, and he's just 24. I think he might have a pretty good future for the D-backs. He sure is hitting good right now.

Anyone know how fast this guy is? I have yet to see him play but I'm wondering if he'll be the kind of player to steal 30+ bases a year. Thoughts?

I've been thinking about adding him for a while now. Just can't decide who to drop. Either Vizquel, Castilla or Erstad. Just can't decide. Oh and by the way: He stole his first base last night.

I'm thinking of picking up Cintron in my league and dropping Eric Young. Will Cintron play all year?

Super GM drop any of those three for Cintron, Southerner, yes drop him, get Cintron. He plays 2B, SS, and 3B. Go get him. On another note, Hammock hit another HR today, and with Womack out maybe he stays in the lineup indefinitely. What do you think of picking him up?

Hammock is an excellent pick-up if you need a catcher. He's eligible there in Yahoo.

Would anyone rank Hammock higher than Greg Myers?

I would rather have Myers as my C. I'm not sure how long Hammock willl be up after everyone is healthy.

I'm not sure, but I don't think Cintron is much of a steals threat. Maybe 10-15 in a year (half that this year). 30 I think is out of the question.
