well, I really want Mauer, If i wanted to "guarantee" his services in a H2H league, where should I draft him, I was thinking round Five, maybe six...

No offense, but picking a C like Mauer that early is just plain nuts imo.

Mauer is a medicore C with 10 Sbs. That is not round 5 material. An dyou shoul dnot be paying for potential that early imo.

No, hes a great player, but in the fifth, yes, don't waste time.

If hes there and you have most of your lineup and a couple of good SPs and a closer set then sure, around the 9th-10th.

Don't pick Mauer that high. He doesn't get that many PA's relative to other hitters, and just isn't that great compared to someone else you can get in that round. I've learned it's better not to get stud C's, as it's hard for them to produce as other players when they're not playing 1 every 5 games, and when for the most part, a stud C is on par with just a good 1B or OF. oh, man. I just took Bonds in the early 3rd, Roberts in the late 6th and Gagne in the early 7th

yah, but his PA's should go up. I haven't heard anything coming out of minnie this spring training (granted, I haven't been looking) but he's been on a long mend from his knee injury. last i heard last season the plan was that this season he'd be back at full strength. given that, i'd say he's being undervalued this spring.
