How many SB in 12 team league?

Ignore below if you don't want to help with my draft question, but let's discuss what it takes to win a category.

How many SB would take the top spot in the league?
There are few prolific speedsters, but enouth effective ones in the 20s. For those of you who have competed in lots of roto leagues, what's the average total for the SB leader?







So far, I have Bay and Rollins on my team, and otherwise, no speed at all.

I'm targeting Freel later on, and that's about 100 total steals. How much more would I need? (seeing as Figgins or Reyes alone can bag 60+)
Pierre is still available, as is Podsednik and Furcal.

Should I draft any of them along with Freel?

You score 5 categories not 1. Put dubious/no power players like Pods or Freel or Pierre on your team in addition to the others and you will be hurting in the HR and RBI numbers. Two guys like Figgins and Reyes are great and you can augment with 10-20 SB OFs in the later rounds like Rowand or Giles. Better to rack up the HR/RBI/R totals and shoot for middl eof the pack in SBs then to try to win SBs and end up middle of the pack in power. Bad power almost alwys leads to bad rbis and mediocre run counts.

Absolute top spot seems to have about 110 SBs, but I always try and aim for the 80 mark. Bunch of 20-10 SB guys are usually what I like to have on my teams.

13 team NL only 14 hitters...last yr 135 was tops followed by 143-132-125-108
