First H2H, maybe

Hi, ive been playing in a H2H points league for some time, my draft in that league is about a month away, but thats not what Im asking, Ive joined a Yahoo league that playes a "roto" style H2h and I was wondering if I should play for balance or is their an optimal strategy that I should implore?

I always try to draft a 5-cat stud in the first round....Someone like a Jason Bay, D Lee, Crawford or Abreu....After that just try to achieve balance and don't take players who kill you in certain categories....Only take a guy like dunn(who hits in the .250 range) if you are desperate for bombs....Just make sure your team won't tank in any one category.....

Go for balance, I haven't had success too much punting a category.

draft strategy. Don't draft any SP the first 4 round(unless somebody that shouldn't fall fell). Why? Because there are 2 quantity category(K, W) vs. 2 quality category(ERA, WHIP) for starters and you can probably win K and W just by starting a tons of SP(but still pick wisely later in draft). When the closer run began, take at least 1 top tier RP(the worst in the top tier is probably B.J. Ryan or Chad Cordero or Huston Street. It's 2nd tier after that)

take the best player available(not telling to to take 2 SS the first 2 rounds )the first couple rounds, fill the rest of your infield up 5-6 rounds after that and worry about your SP and OF last.
