draft help, help with some pitchers and catchers please?

i have a 10 team draft this weekend with a bunch of coworkers and friends and i obviously want to do well. i never draft pitchers or catchers early so my question is who are a few pitchers and catchers that i should look for in the later rounds that could have a great year? i know florida got some catcher from the mets in that trade who is supposed to be good? any help on this would be great.

also any other people to keep a eye out late, i know florida has another kid at 1st base and atlanta has a young stud inthe outfield, what are peoples thoughts on these or any others?

Wow, its amazing how you managed to not mention any players name, you mustve heard about the MLB charging for use of their stats and team names , anyway, a catcher who you should look at in the later rounds could be Benjie Molina, he wont win the league for you but he should be a good value, or maybe a younger catcher like McCann would be a much better option, As for pitchers, take your pick, but I think Escobar should go lower than he should

Unless you are playing in a very deep league or are carrying 2 C on the roster, there is no need to worry wrt catchers. Just pick a decent one in the round 13-16 range. Barrett, AJ Pierz, Posada, Ramon hernandez, etc are all decent options.

As for SPs, a total pot luck guessign game. Plenty of potetial guys around...but whether they actually produce is anyone's guess.

whats the deal with Mike Jacobs for Florida, anyone know anything about this kid or projections? i believe he qualifies as catcher, but when i looked in yahoo he was under 1stbase, but by his name it said catcher?
