Yeah, our league is rather low on catching possibilities. I also have no idea who I would drop for a catcher (everyone says McBride but I honestly believe he will be a fnastic closer/set up man with a great K/IP ratio and I cannot part with him) so I might be playing the entire season with no catcher, again.
Just out of curiousity, how can you go an entire draft and not fill an active roster spot? Losing even 260 10/50/35 is a considerable hit if you compare it to 000 0/0/0.
I had guys, but I ended up dropping them because I felt I could get more out of an extra SP in my lineup (we have 5 SP spots in the league). I roamed around with Molina/Zaun/Doumit/Valentin/other for a while and unless a trade happens I'll likely be doing the same thing this year.

I can't convince myself to drop McBride (Future Holds/Save guy + great K/IP ratio) or Maholm (Good debut, solid ERA future) but they are the obvious choices here.

What real value does Brazoban have a tthis point? I mean, even if he got the job back becuase gagne fell apart, we all know he blows at closing. And his setup numbers are not that great.

This is a 16 team DYNASTY, and Brazoban has a good K/IP ratio as well as a guaranteed 20 holds.

I suppose. Not a fan of his needless to say. And hold guys are usually a dime a dozen and can be had on the wire. Someone has to go as yiou said, and if it is no thim, then Mcbride or Maholm are the next best options imo.

Do you have a source on this? before the injury Wilson had a fantastic career that I monitored closely. He improved ALL his stats every single year and I saw great things from him before he went down. Where did you hear he won't start?
