I have no catcher now in my cafe dynasty league. I don't care if my league mates see this post, they KNOW IT, I KNOW IT! No catcher!

Now I am searching the FAs (16 team league) for a young catcher who will at least get 100 games this year. Any thoughts? I have played half the season without a catcher last year, I ended up in 5th place I believe. maybe thats why. Any young semi-decent catches you see around I should look at?

My team is stacked anyways and I can't even think of who I would drop, but overall I still think I need to fill the position so enlighten me, thanks.

It's unlikely they're still there, but 2 names that jump to mind are McCann (Atl) & Doumit (Pit)

Hard to say without knowing who has been taken. What about Buck in KC? Molina in STL?

ZIG, I noticed that you and I are in the same boat. We are both without C. Not much talent left, I'm probably gonna try and get a young kid and only play them in favorable matchups.

How about Hall, Willingham, LaRue, YMolina, or Torrealba?

Look for a combo of Javier Valentein/ Jason LaRue, or one or the other. they platoon and if you have the bench space and the initiative to change your lineup according to who is playingm by combining their number you get a very solid catcher ;-D

Toby Hall of the Drays would be a decent option. He is probably available and even though he will not provide you much on the runs and RBIs side, he will hit for a decent average and not hurt you there. I would also look at Yadier Molina of St Louis as well.

Use this a s a guide. I do not know how deep you are going in the C ranks, but this will list out about every C elig player around under most formats.

Yeah, our league is rather low on catching possibilities. I also have no idea who I would drop for a catcher (everyone says McBride but I honestly believe he will be a fnastic closer/set up man with a great K/IP ratio and I cannot part with him) so I might be playing the entire season with no catcher, again.
