There's talk from the Mets organization that Lo Duca would be the Mets' #2 hitter... You think his value would skyrocket hitting ahead of the likes of Beltran, Delgado, Wright, and Floyd?

If so, I may have to make him my strating C... 80 runs, 70 RBI, and 10-15 homers (good for him), along with the decent average around .280 wouldn't be out of the question...

I can't see the 70 RBI or 10-15 HR happening but he would get a good amount of runs and good BA.

Yeah I think Lo Duca's chances of hitting 10-15 HR are slim. I'd draft him expecting 5 and anything else is a bonus.

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
