Bonds...?

Whats the story on Bonds... I was doing my practice draft in public league and snatched him in the 7th... Where should he be going in a normal 5x5 12 man league and what do you guys project him at stats wise?

I think getting him in the 7th is a major steal. I've been seeing him go as early as 3rd round. In my OPS league, he'll probably go 2nd.

While Bonds is pretty risky this year, I still think I'd take him in the third in a standard 5x5.

i wouldnt take the risk on him early,news is that they arent planning on him playing everyday. But if you can get him in that 6-7 range hes a nice option. I would take him over vernon wells or coco crisp.

Hes just buying time before he gets bought by an AL team to go DH.

I take Konerko or Kent. Excellent value at 56 overall. Forget Bonds.

You better start worrying about your starting pitching though. If RJ is the best around, you have a problem potetntially. Hopefully CZam is still on the board as he slips in some leagues.

Don't worry, I'll get all the underrated starters. Haren, Blanton, Lackey, Lieber, Cain, O Perez, Harang, Liriano, etc etc. I'm working the middle to the end of the draft for SP and RP


Zambrano was taken over Sheets and Harden.

Saving 2B for a late, late pick of Mike Lowell or Freel.

Buehrle is probably the best pitcher available. Smoltz, Zito, Schmidt, Clemens

I take Konerko over Sexson any day of the week. Sexson is Konerko with the potential for less avg and more injuries imo.
