Which one would you rathar have on your keeper team?

Both are almost identicle in age and play the same position.

Looking at mL numbers, one would probably say Hermida, but Francoeur did have a solid roockie year.

Right now I have them ranked right next to each other, but wanted to here others' opinion.

In fantasy, Hermida and it is not particularly close right now. Reality, Francouer has a gun so his defense makes up some of the deficiencies on plate discipline.

why isnt it close. francouer has proven he can perform at a high level in the majors. hermida hasnt proven jack. honestly id take francouer at this point until hermida puts together a good full year in the bigs.

I'd go with Hermida. Francouer is looking towards the sophomore slump. Pitchers were already figuring him out at the end of last year.

I woudl agree that past performances are a factor. I have Hermida a touch above Francoueur, though I like Jeff more. Speed is only reason. Given choice... I take Francoeur despite my ranking a little higher.

i'd take hermida. francoeur might hit for more power but hermida will swipe a few more bags and you have to like hermida's ability to get on base.

Hermida is actually a good hitter.

Depending on the settings of your league, I would say that Hermida is best for next year (15-15 and decent OBP isn't bad for a fourth outfielder) while Vla, er I mean Jeff Francoeur will have a higher ceiling when he does reach his peak a few years from now.
