I just drafted this team in a yahoo public league. I guess the first thing I'm a little concerned about is the outfield. I also ended up with a few Tigers at the end. They just looked like good value picks.

Any opinions/suggestions would be appreciated.

Outfield = fine

But I'm more worried about MCab. I know this might sound ridiculous but 275-25-90 aren't all that out of the quesiton with him being the only star on that team.

Went a lil early on sexson there. Pitching is solid.

Yeah - if you could swing a trade for a more sure-thing OF go for it, but I wouldn't be too worried abou it.

You might want another SP you can count on (well, as far as you can count on any SP). Liriano, Perez, and Bedard are all somewhat unknowns and they might all do well, but could bust as well. And since they have value in light of their potential, you could probably get someone good for one of them.

just my thoughts. any for me?

your team is similar to mine, we both have sheets as an ace. Im in the process of trading for a starter, so maybe you should to.

Nice team.

I would try and trade one of Holliday or Pierre with Todd Jones (his value will never be higher) for an upgrade at OF.

Please look at mine:

Try and get another starter, or another OF

I like the team overall, you could try to upgrade in the outfield if the right trade came along but you will probally be alright because your infield is so strong, minus injuries of course. I would try to trade T. Jones (I am in the process myself) since Detroit doesn't get many saves. I would not trade Pierre unless you recieve a top SB guy in return.

Wow, people around here are really hasty with trades. Nice team, sit with it and see how things work out. No need to trade for SP when you have a bunch of potential already. Wait and see how they do, if they falter, drop them to the WW and pick-up someone else.

Your OF and Utility won't produce enough HRs most likely, so look on the WW for someone who can help you there. That was an overreach for Sexson, but that happens.
...Boston papers now and then suffer a sharp flurry of arithmetic on this score; indeed, for Williams to have distributed all his hits so they did nobody else any good would constitute a feat of placement unparalleled in the annals of selfishness. -Updike

Good job on Javy in the 9th, and Holliday in the 11th. Looking decent, could use more SP instead of all those relievers.

mine, please http://www.fantasybaseballcafe.com/foru ... p?t=169531
