Where is Kerry Wood taken these days?

i thought i'd give this thread a healthy bump as i'm considering taking him in my 7x7 keeper league. What makes him so intriguing is he'll be eligible at both RP/SP. He could certainly do some damage as a swingman!

What would be a solid round to try and get him? We are about to begin our 3rd round (13th round after you count our 10 keepers).

I have him ranked as my #49 pitcher, 192 overall (in a 12 team league, that would be last pick of the 16th round).

Ummm considering he has never really shown much except for potential which has faded, and a few hot streaks I won't even be targeting him this year and will probably not even draft him considering some other hopeful will take him way before where he should be taken. I took him two years ago on my team and he killed me with injuries.

I think I would take a shot on him if I could get him late 16-18 round as a 4th or 5th starter. That way if he does get hurt again, you don't lose much. But he does have upside. !+)

I have already been burned by this guy in the past.

I will let someone else deal with him :-t

He is listed as a reliever.

I think that he's really up in the air until he pitches a bit and sees how he holds together this time. Obviously, I'd *really* like to see him get it together but not enough to probably take him until all my other lineup spots are full... :~(

I wouldn't mind him on my roster if the value was there to select him. I've seen him go as high as 10 and as low as 15...I was wanting him in the 17-19 rounds.

Since he qualifies as a RP, you can get K's in a hurry if you have to.

I like the risk late, but it's all where you can get him. I surely wouldn't overpay just for that flexibility.

I like this approach.
