I bought a Game Cube

I bought a gamecube so me and my lady can play games.

I got SSX3 ( i loved tricky) and Mario Golf.

I'll be getting baseball when it comes out.

What else should I get?

j/k i love some of the games on cube but just can't bring myswlf to spend money on something that overall has so few games that are for single player. other than say zelda (which was the only reason beside rogue squad a bought a 64) i just don't seem much for SP. as far as party games go there is no equal to nintendo. golf party tennis all great stuff.

and yes i know about metroid and as the games do look pretty cool i just can't play a FPS with a controller. just does not feel natural no matter how much the game is designed for it.

yeah forgot about kart. everything i've heard is RE4 is a great game. i think someobody here was discussing it a week or two ago. course it could have been a nother forum as i frequent so many i sort of loose track sometimes.

Yes... RE4 is very very good...

I think it's the best game I've ever played. You MUST get that one.

Metroid Prime is another fantastic first person shooter game for the system. Prior to RE4 it was my favorite game ever.

As mentioned, Mario Golf is fun and Mario Kart is fantastic.

I would say buy them in this order-

RE4

Mario Kart (to play when you get frustrated with RE4)

Metroid Prime (when you finish RE4).

You can get metroid prime for like 15 bucks used now.

Get RE4, it is really awesome. A couple others i'd recommend are, Metroid Prime, Legend of Zelda:Windwaker (new Zelda comes out this year, and Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes (if you never played the original MGS on playstation)

all of those, besides RE4, could be had for fairly cheap too

I don't know if I'd recommend Wind Waker unless you're a zelda nut... it's so kiddy oriented and repetitive. You fight the same stupid enemies over and over again (although the bosses are very cool).

And I hate sailing around in that stupid boat!!

Not challenging either. But the upcoming Zelda Twilight Princess game is going to blow us all away
