This also must have been written before the A's got Frank Thomas. As a Ranger fan I hate this, but the A's actually have some hitting now to go with their pitching. The AL West is going to be a doozy this season.
Please let us sign Clemens....please!
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

Did we just find a Clemens owner in a keeper league?

Will there be an NL version of this or do we have to wait for someone else to write it
That's a good question. Actaually, I never really thought about it until now, and was planning on going in a differerent direction with my next article. I only thought about doing the AL one, because a friend and I were talking about the Sox chances this year, and the more we talked about it, we realized how many more good teams there were in the AL this year than in year's past. I haven't really thougt about it much, but my first thought is that you can't say the same about the NL - I could be wrong though. Or I could think about it more and realize I'm wrong. However, I think that other than St. Louis, you could argue that all 9 of those AL teams are better than any team in the NL. I think that the most intriguing thing in the NL is the East, and how you have very good teams and all are pretty even overall and maybe just preview those three.
Thanks for the compliments though, guys. I've been real busy with school work lately, and had to find time to work on it here and there, but in the end did put a lot of time and thought into it.
In Jeremy Leveille's article, he says that the Yankees have good pitching...Jeremy, how the hell do you figure that? Carl Pavano? Hell he was 4-6 with a 4.77 ERA last year...tell me that's worth the $12 million the Yankees are paying him. Kevin Brown? Don't get me started...$10 million a year 4-7, 6.50 ERA? Yeah. If you truly believe that Chien Ming Wang, Shawn Chacon, and Aaron Small are going to carry this team, you need to watch a baseball game once in a while. They're going to come crashing back to earth. And I look forward to it. Hate to burst your bubble Jimbo, but the Yankees pitching is not only bad, it sucks, and it makes way too much money...just like the rest of the Yankees.
