Two more tracks from the long awaited Guns N' Roses album "Chinese Democracy" were leaked on Febuary 16th, the first being "I.R.S" a full length demo track. The second being "Better" a 1 minute 20 second preview. However, GNR management immediately descended on the Web, requesting the removal of all links and references to the files.
I.R.S was first played in on Eddie Trunks radio show on August 30th 2003 but never became released in mp3 until April 2005. The song was released in several parts, and then one longer part, however, the quality was not the best but it was a genuine Guns track. Guns N' Roses manager, Merck Mercuriadis, ordered a cease and desist order on the track. The new I.R.S is a full-length high quality demo and it is unknown what Merck's knowledge of the event is.
The track "Better" is a track mentioned by Axl in interviews as being one of his personal favourites and features industrial elements as well as a more "Guns-esque" style. The release of these songs is a welcome sight for Guns N' Roses fans who have been awaiting Chinese Democracy for over ten years. It seems that Axl's prediction that "people will hear music this year" was correct.
These songs plus the new ones they played on the '02 tour are really good...Chinese Democracy is gonna be awesome.
If anyone wants the demos or some of the new songs from '02 pm or email me.

Again? I didn't know he did it the first time! I guess you have to do it on videotape for it to be a big deal.
Anyway, I'd be absolutely shocked if this album was anywhere near as good as their Appetite or Illusions albums. I don't even know who is in the band aside from Axl. 10-1 says the album is total crap. That's just my $0.02.

I just can't imagine it being that good. Axl's been working on it for so long and the hype surrounding the album has been talked to death by everyone in the rock industry just drooling over the idea of new GNR material, it can't possibly live up to the standards people have set for it. Besides, the GNR sound can't be replaced by session guitarists and sideshow acts like Buckethead. Maybe I'm wrong, and I truly hope I am.
