i like that team a lot, maybe try to pick up a dependable 1b just in case howard and morneau has dissapointing season and be on the lookout for a 3rd closer ... p?t=169199

I like your team. Your offense looks solid. I dont like your starting pitching. You put too much stock into young arms. Liriano, Cain, and Duke may all turn out to be stars, but i dont see it hapenning next year. They will hit bumps in the road and would be lucky to have an ERA in the 3.50 area. I'm not sure whos out there, but there may be a pitcher on your WW worth looking at, if not try to swing a trade for a solid #3.

your team looks pretty good but your avg will be kinda low, like around 270, and you could definitely use another closer. you might wana pick up another SP off waivers too. you've got 3 young 1B who all have potential. howard should put up good numbers, and morneau might or might not have a bounce back season. D. Johnson could be big this year, seeing as he will be the A's starting 1B and last year was his major league debut and he managed 15 dingers, and 58 rbi's in only 109 games. You've got potential but no big star at 1B.

my thoughts

I'm no expert, but I'd think that between Howard, Morneau, and Johnson at least one will be doing pretty well at all points during the season. Maybe a backup 3B if you have room - assuming Chavez starts as cold as always?

I'll be posting my team and will appreciate any feedback you might have.

-Get rid of Peerzinskee lol
-Pray Beckett can make 30 starts
-Nice young pitching with Liriano, Cain, and Duke, but you probably would've been better off with a sure thing veteran.
-Chavez is a slow starter so see if you can get a bench player with 3B eligibility.

Overall a team that can compete, but you do need a sure thing 2nd starter behind Peavy

Nice team, altough I have a bad feeling about J. Guillen. Using him on a trade to get your backup 3B plus less risky OF.
