... I'm not even sure what to say. I know a GM has to be positive, but every Cubs fan out there knows a comment like that is pretty baseless and full of you know what.

Maybe they are planning on pitching him every 3 days like they did in the old days.

I mean it is clear that Wood's career will be shortened by injuries anyway so why not throw him as much as you can before he flames out? Nice going Hendry and Baker! ;-D

That is funny. I need to figure out a way to get Hendry into our money league!! :-D

That being said, if he has some scientific evidence, medical reports or has talked to the Billy Goat Goat, I'd be pretty pleased to see Kerry Wood stave off car salesmanship for a while!! 30 starts though? That's a fan talking, not a responsible management guy. Why the heck would you pick up Wade Miller if you thought Wood was going to make even 20 starts? :-?
