Anyone have info on this guy? I just found out he has a minor league contract with the Cubbies, but couldn't find anything on his health... What's his health status? Any chance he gets back to his former self?

Last thing I heard about him was he won't be healthy until May or so. I'm not even sure if there will be a spot for him in the rotation.

Zambrano
Prior
Maddux
Wood
Williams
Rusch
Miller

Miller might get a chance before Rusch, but Wood will probably get injured to...

He likely won't help you in fantasy baseball for 2006.

No chance he has an impact in Chicago this year...they simply picked him up for insurance.

Yeah but in Chicago don't they always need their insurance. They have some injury risks out there. I wouldn't draft him but i'd keep an eye on him.

If he is healthy by may, he's a better option than Rusch or Williams by July.

I dont understand why they would go with this guy as an "insurance policy." Last offseason he went the "rest and rehab" route over surgery. Never a good idea.

His health status you ask? Not good...for the rest of his baseball career. :-b

You'd better keep him away from your fantasy team. He's supposed to pitch in May...they hope. With his injury history, I'd say he's a big gamble...even in deep leagues.

Rugby that is a BIG IF. I kinda like Williams and I am unsure Miller will be better even IF he were completely healthy.
