Both ballparks in LA last year had practically the same park factors, so that doesn't really do anything to his value. The only thing that hurts him is the DH and not facing all the weak NL West line ups.

You are right, the Angels are better than they were yesterday, but it has cost them 8 million for a marginal upgrade. If Weaver's ERA this year is under 4.50 I will be impressed. Oakland also has plenty of lefties, so any right hander works for their matchups.

It's not a bad contract, but then again anything seems good when you're a fan of the M's and and the Washburn contract.
