Terrorists in Kuwait tried to detonate a car bomb and kill the first president Bush while he spoke at the University of Kuwait. It was defused by Kuwaiti police.

In 1994, Frank Eugene Corder flew a Cessna into the White House, crashing it into the South Lawn, striking the West Wing. Clinton was away from the White House at the time, as it was going through renovations.

And in 2005, a Georgian (the country) man, Vladimir Arutinian, threw a hand grenade at President Bush while he was speaking in Georgia. It landed a 100 feet away, but failed to go off.

Those were the ones you missed. Sort of scary to think of all the attempts out there.

No kidding. What I wouldn't give to have two consecutive presidents with the mettle of Teddy Roosevelt after Bushy!
