Lima should provide some positive energy...and will probably make fans happy, but not really a good move. Probably just insurance in case Pedro or Trachsel get hurt again.
I like the move. It may turn out to be meaningless but Lima is not as bad as he looked with KC. He's a guy who could step into the rotation if need be and give you a 4 ERA. Not great but not too bad as depth IMO. Plus he's just a likable character.

Well Lima-time is over. Lima was cut per a WFAN report and Randolph said as much during the game, implying that both Diaz and Nady will be on the roster to start the season. It was fun while it lasted. OK maybe not.
