It'd be nice to see him have that one last, great season, but I won't be taking a chance on him unless he slips to about the 17th round and that seems unlikely. I may not even take him then. His injury history over the past five years, makes him too risky IMO......

He isn't called Gimpy for nothing.

I thought that was the eighth dwarf that the other seven kept locked in the basement.
I would feel comfortable with Griffey as a third OF simply based on risk/reward... but I'd make darn sure I had someone more reliable ready to fill in.

If you are getting him in, say round 15 or so, you are getting good value. He is worth that late a pick. At that point, you are probably talking about your 3rd outfielder and he is worth a flier.

I wouldn't keep him in a Reds only league.

After a fairly healthy last season, Griffey is definitely worth a gamble around Rd 15. But as stated, make sure you have a decent option to plug-in when he goes down. Last year I had Mench waiting in the wings.
But I wouldn't keep him at $16, even in NL-only...

he is still a threat to hit 40 homers. i'm not brimming with confidence that he will be healthy but depending on the makeup of your team would be a good gamble in the draft.
