Yea I'm talking about Eric Reed... I thought I had put his name in there.. what do you guys think about him as a late round flyer?

am i crazy or didnt you ask for his opinion?

reed really took a step back last year....he is now 25 yo and i dont think he is any better than chris aguila..reed had 3 walks in 171 ABs at aaa .. his SB% was only 70% .. and that was his only asset..only hit .255 at AA carolina...pass

Well thats your opinion... im just pointing out that he could end up stealing a bunch of bags if he plays a full season... it just all comes down to his avg and other things.

Well, I don't see him having a good AVG either, since he batted 255 in AA.

I think there are a lot better options out there. Reed will never have the BA or power to survive.

Hes a good late round flyer I guess, but I prefer Chris Duffy. Duffy won't get as many steals but he'll hit for a better average and score more runs.

Duffy worries me. He tore his hamstring toward the end of last season, and he still hasn't completely recovered. There's some speculation he won't be fully recovered by opening day, at least speed wise, and speed is his game.

Duffy has 2 problems. One, his game is speed and his hamstring is injured. Two, he's a Pirate.
