We all know what Howard has done, but after reading this thread again for the first time in months, I find it funny to look at what Morneau has done. He was brought up in comparison to Howard in this thread (in a negative way) and he has had a breakout season as well.
You have no frame of reference, Donny. You're like a child who walks into the middle of a movie...

What an amazing season by this guy. Probably my worst preseason prediction by far. I thought the guy was absolutely going to tank and he turns into one of the best offensive players in the league. Good thing I was dead on about Thome

...Boston papers now and then suffer a sharp flurry of arithmetic on this score; indeed, for Williams to have distributed all his hits so they did nobody else any good would constitute a feat of placement unparalleled in the annals of selfishness. -Updike

Wow. What a great thread to bring back up. When I started it, I had no idea Howard would approach his 90th percentile forecast. And I was optimistic about him.

Taking Utley before the 3rd round is a pretty big risk with only a small reward and taking Howard before the 8th or so is way too big of a risk.

Too bad the whining about Howard thread was deleted, lol.
Guy was complaining -- after 3 weeks -- that he wasn't showing any power. I hope the guy cut him.
