OPS Reflected Rankings...

according to my rankings of 221 hitters, these are the players that moved up or down 15 or more spots. one thing to note is that for guys like reyes, their shift in the 2B and SS ranking will be much less severe b/c of the relative concentration of SBs and lower OPS at those positions, so the real impact isn't as big as it seems.

What I do is use my mock draft software and create both a 5x5 league and a 6x6 league and then compare the player ranking lists that both leagues generate. You can also modify the player projections to your likings prior to generating the player rankings if so desired. vr, Xei

What would your top 12 be with OPS? Losses are the 6th pitching category. Mine right now looks pretty similar to what it was before I knew we were incorporating OPS.

1. Rodriguez
2. Pujols
3. Teixiera
4. Guerrero
5. Ramirez
6. Ortiz
7. Santana
8. Abreu
9. Cabrera
10. Bay
11. Young
12. Wright

What would you say?

Teixeira is way too high on OPS. Vlad, Manny, Ortiz, Hafner, Abreu should all post higher OPS.

He still had a good OPS at .954. How far do you think he should be moved down?

I think when you throw in OPS as a category, Hafner is about as good as Cabrera.

Let me phrase is this way...

You have the last pick of a 10 team redraft league. Categories are standard 5x5 plus OPS for hitters and losses for pitchers. Options on the board include Bobby Abreu, Miguel Cabrera, Jason Bay, David Wright, Michael Young, Travis Hafner and nearly everyone else that you'd project to go after that.

What two players do you pick?
