But I emailed this guy about his league as well. I was very interested and I normally only come out to play in 1 league per year that I do not run. (Just to get away from the normal guys).
He is wanting to run a salary cap auction league and don't get me wrong has a very strong format for doing so. However, when I made a simple suggestion as well (with 8 years experience in auction league's - a CBSsportsline.com Commissioner review panel board member and an original
http://www.sportingnews.com fantasy advisor for baseball and auction league's) this guy come back with "All the rules are in place for a reason and that's that."
I had since told him I was still interested, but seeing the ongoing post here I can easily tell all of you that this is a league (and commissioner) to avoid. There are far to many fantasy league's available to deal with a dictatorship such as this.
I dont know Erik from Adam, but he had a viable point that would speed things up, even as I did and both were shot down immediately.
Again, dont get me wrong. Sandbully knows how to setup a draft for auction style format and the rules that go with it. He just doesn't have a sense of people skills or the ability to change for the better.
Good luck to everyone, and I will go back to keeping my mouth shut.
