Looking for seasoned team owners to join a free Yahoo! league.

For batting, the scoring is based off of Runs ®, Home Runs (HR), Runs Batted In (RBI), Stolen Bases (SB), Fielding Percentage (FPCT) and Batting Average (AVG). For pitching, it is Wins (W), Saves (SV), Holds (HLD), Strike Outs (SO or K), Earned Run Average (ERA) and Walks+Hits per Inning Pitched (WHIP).

The league is set up for 16 teams currently. Positions are Catcher ©, 1st Baseman (1B), 2nd Baseman (2B), 3rd Baseman (3B), Shortstop (SS), Left Fielder (LF), Center Fielder (CF), Right Fielder (RF) and Utility batter (Util). There is 1 slot for a dedicated Starting Pitcher (SP), 1 for a dedicated Relief Pitcher (RP) and 2 more slots for either kind.

There are 2 disabled slots and 4 bench slots. There are no limits on player trades nor free-agency acquisitions. Players dropped remain on waivers for 3 days and trades can be disallowed by the Commissioner within 3 days.

UPDATE

We have a 2-3 owners from the last season of the United Baseball Association. This is going to the total to around 5.

Looking for active owner participation, not just managing their team all season, but for discussion and voting on issues. Also, some friendly smack-talk is preferred.

New Update

We have 8 teams in the league. There is one prospective owner that may be joining. It would be great to have an even number of teams so that no team has a bye.

It's going to be a live draft, set for Saturday March 25, 2006 at 7:15 pm CST. Those that are content with Auto-pick can set their player priority lists. It's expected that less than half the league will be able to attend the live drafting.

If you're not interested in particpating all season long, even with the worst record in the league, don't bother. Otherwise, please e-mail me at mailto:RancerDS@yahoo.com.
