I'm just going to stay clear of this thread.

How are you feeling the old Chavez/Tejada debate. Did Chavez meet your expectations in the second half?

I was expecting a little more out of Eric, but he certainly outplayed Tejada in the 2nd half.

I like Chavez this year too. I just grabbed him in the late 8th round in one of my leagues. I definitely don't think .275, 30 HR, 100 RBI, 90 R is out of the question.

I'm still not sold on this. There may be a lot of potential 30/100 guys here, but a good portion of them have notes by their name on my rankings saying, "injury risk" or "inconsistent." Chavez, Glaus, and maybe Mora are the only two guys who are locks after the big four for 25+ 90+ at third base this year. And with Glaus you're guaranteed a BA under .265.

I'd reach for him before anyone else in the "second tier," but it would be a couple rounds after the big four are off the board.
