I expect the rankings will be updated sooner or later. I believe when they launch every fantasy sport, the rankings are a bit outdated, but get fixed up within a few weeks. No way are they going to leave Hermida, Barmes, etc that low.

sorry but i think your wrong...

yahoo usually ranks players comming back from injury low as well as rookies...these ranks wont change till the season starts

Nice lists. Definately a valuable tool if you're in a league with people that don't make up their own rankings and just select from Yahoo's pool.

It was always like that in the past. I run a league where we offline draft on a Yahoo group. Every year I copy over the Yahoo rankings and we start the draft sometime around Mid-February towards late February. Usually, by late February or early March, they've updated the rankings amking them totally different from the list used in my group. Maybe this year will be different? Check this thread for confirmation that this happened last year:
