Any of you morons who want Vice President Cheney prosecuted for an ACCIDENT are asking for a legal precedent to prosecute YOU if you have an accident and someone gets hurt, whether it's in a car, kitchen, at work, where ever.

It's a good thing we have a Constitution or the liberals of America would be getting anyone that doesn't give them money thrown into jail for just breathing. They're making a pathetic attempt at trying to do that already.

Well, this was a fairly civil discussion until you came along duckmonkey; how about you shut up and I move to have this thread locked.

Hear that sound?
Yes, that's a fizzle you hear.
You GOP haters now have to find a new tree to bark up.

Duckmonkey, I got your back. This board needs more posters with your mindset. Keep on fighting the good fight. You made a good point but some these people here are blinded by hate.

Blinded by hate? What does that mean? I don't think Willingham was blinded by hate, unless you consider hate to be birdshot fired from Dick Cheney's gun....

HAHAHAHAHAH!

From glancing over the thread (I won't be bothered to read through all the rubbish), all it appears that people (see: me) want is for Cheney to receive equal treatment of any other US citizen. That's all I'd ask for, really. It was an accident, sure, but something tells me if it were you or I who committed the accident, we'd be in much deeper water.

Also, I strongly recommend biting your tongue to a degree (not saying don't voice your opinion, but leave the insults and harsh nature on the playground). There used to be a strict 'No Politics' policy here at the Cafe that was recently lifted, so it's best to keep discussion as least heated as possible, in order to prevent the ban from being reinstated.

Welcome to the Cafe. ;-D

Yeah, this really wasn't a political discussion at all; rather it was an "isn't it silly the VP shot some guy; I wonder what will happen" thread.

Now duckmonkey and fireballer are trying to turn it into an episode of Hannity & Colms... and THAT is how threads get locked.

Come on guys, lets try to keep the insults to a minimum. Duckmonkey, if you have to be insulting, make fun of someone's mom. And then follow with a patented, acsguitar approved "j/k".
