I'm not sure where you got he has a poor FB from. From every source I've heard he still has the 92-94 mph good moving FB that he has had since he was drafted. I agree his change isn't advanced at all, but he still has 2 pitches and just needs to gain some control. It's a whole other story if he ever does gain his control though.


He was never the same after the injury, I personally thought he was overhyped before the injury as well though.

His FB is inconsistant IMO, and as you said his change is kinda awful. I don't see him getting past where he is now, and his numbers weren't too hot.

Well yeah that's the problem, everything is to inconsistent. He hasn't developed that well and who knows if he ever will. That said, I haven't seen one source that says his FB is down in velocity from what I said or bad, but his control isn't very good.
