And you all, as a result of reading this thread, have also lost The Game. Since you are now trapped playing this until your death, here are the rules:

* To know of The Game's existence is to play The Game.
* To realise that you have thought of The Game is to lose The Game.
* When you lose The Game, you must announce this fact to everyone present. My thoughts are much more secure than the devices of this simple meme can penetrate. $20 says I don't think about this again, unless I stumble on this thread again. At which point I'll remember I didn't care to "play," and I won't think of it again.

I thought so too, but I was wrong. Those who are senile or have Alzheimers also have a distinct advantage in that they may forget it on their death bed, and therefore get a patch.
