My prospective partner in this league has been commissioner of our current league for 4 years now (best league I've been in since starting 17 years ago) and we are willing to START a new league if we can find 8 (al or nl only) or 12-16 teams to get in a league worth $200+ fee.

Rule book already written and concise.

Reside in New England/New York?....May be worth starting new.

•Live Draft, 3/26/06 08:00 pm ET. Non Keeper
•29 Rounds, with 50 seconds between picks.
•Draft robot enabled - picks are made automatically for teams that let the clock expire

AL and NL Players

(1) C, (1) 1B, (1) 2B, (1) 3B, (1) SS, (1) MI, (1) CI, (4) OF, (2) U, (9) SP and RP

Players are eligible at their primary position, plus positions they've played 15 games last year or 10 games this year.

•Lineups may be set daily up to 30 minutes before gametime.
•Owners may set lineups and change players' positions.
•Only players who are on the disabled list may be placed into Injured status.
•Add/drops are handled by a waivers process.
•The waivers process runs on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
•The waiver order resets after each weeks' games.
•Dropped players remain on waivers for at least 1 day(s).
•Trades are subject to a 2-day voting period, where at most 5 objections are allowed. Trades receiving more the 5 objections are sent to the commissioner for approval.
•No trades can be made after the trade deadline of 11:59 PM ET 8/29/06.

H2H, AL only, $$$$ Sportsline live online snake draft

$280ish yearly fees, $1600ish for 1st, very fun league!!!

I run a money league on Sportline, we are in our 6 year. One of of founding owners droped out due to a new career move. So, we are looking for someone who would like to be a owner for the long haul.

Our leage is a AL/NL only league that switches each year, with this year being AL only. There are 11 teams, all standard default head to head scoring rules with a few minor adjudstments. The cost of the league is $130 to enter, $1 a transaction, $3 a trade plus transaction fees, and $5 weekly. The weekly fee of $5 gets divided up, half goes to the kitty, the other half goes to the team that scores the most points that week. There is also a $25 fine for last place at the end of the season, and a $25 fine for lowest team scoring for the year. The kitty looks something like this: 1600 for 1st, 800 for second, and 300 for 3rd. The average team spends around $280 at the end of the year.
