You MUST sign everyone on your team and you MUST use all the of the years that is on the chart up above. This allows you to have your studs for a long term and the duds for short term. 2-The Auction, and Free Agent Bidding
2.1-The Auction
For the first year it will be held on fantasyauctioneer.com. It will be a couple of hours to complete but it will be very fun. It is a good place to have it because it keeps track of how much money you used and have left. This allows people not to overbid and have enough money. The salary cap will be $275 for 25 players. Everyone must be at the auction or they will be replaced. Each bid will start at $1 and I think it o increases a $1 each time.
2.2-Free Agent Bidding
During the season you may bid on any free agent. The bidding must start at $1 and it can increase at any rate. When you bid please put the following: Subject-Player Name, Post- Team Name bids $ ends at Time, day. That way it is easy to know when the player is sold. After the season when a player’s contract runs out and not resigned they will become free agent. During a period time there will be a free agent signing. You may bid a $1 on a time for major league and minor league players.
3-Resignings, and Players Eligible
3.1-Resignings
When a player going into a year has one year left is eligible to be resigned and no one else is able to have an extension. The most players you can have to resign are 8. For the first 4 players, you add $2 to their old contract and for the other 4 is $1 added to their old contract. Minor leaguers CANNOT be resigned. If they don’t get called up to the MLB and you don’t call the up and it is their last year, you can’t resign only if they are on your MLB team.
3.2-Players Eligible
Players eligible to be consider being minor leaguers and on your minor league team have to have the following services to the MLB: 150IP and 200AB. RP that serve a full season ARE considered MLB players. Players like Zach Duke or King Felix can be on either team or your choosing. Players over 150IP and over 200AB and are on your minor league team must be called up or released in 48 hours. If not they will become free agents.
