1st Year $15 Dynast Auction league

Postby LongBallMan23 » Thu Feb 09, 2006 10:02 pm

I am looking to get a bunch of competitive managers that will also stay active. Money Leagues keep the active in and non active out.
It will be $10-$15 and 16-20 managers(depending on the interest level.) It will also be an auction either on the league site forum or on fantasyauctioneer.com Want very active managers

League Name: HomeRun Hitters Dynasty
Basic Rules:
H2H scoring-6*6 plus OPS and HLD
On Yahoo Fantasy Baseball
25 man roster
1-C
1-1B
1-2B
1-3B
1-SS
2-UTIL
1-LF
1-CF
1-RF
1-OF
3-SP
2-RP
4-P
5 Bench
2-DL

$275 salary cap average of $11 per player--It is close to the regular 23 man $260

I will post again with more info b/c i need to catch the bus.

There will be 3 positions in this league to keep it moving smoothly
1.Commish-me
2. Overseerer-Make sures no cheating is going on and that rosters on the board are correct
3.Accountan-Keeps track of money. Collects it in the beginning of the season and hands out the prizes at the end.

Got some time now!

Prize Money ($15)
for 16 teams
1st place-$125
2nd place-$75
3rd place $40

for 20 teams
1st-$175
2nd-$80
3rd-$45

Who ever is in we can decide to make it a cash back for people who didnt make the top 3. I am still deciding that. Also there will be 4 DIVISIONS. Divisions winners also might get money. If you are in the league we will decide that

The board for the off season will either be on proboards or phbb.

I am still in the middle of making the rules and most likely have them up by tomorrow so if u are interested i will have deeper and more thorough rules.

THanks

Here is the first half and part of the League Rule

League Rules

1-Rosters, Contracts, and Scoring

1.1-Rosters
1-C 15 Minor Leaguers
1-1B
1-2B
1-3B
1-SS
2-UTIL
1-LF
1-CF
1-RF
1-OF
3-SP
2-RP
4-P
5 Bench

1.2-Contracts
Auction Signings:
Major:
3 players @ 5years
4 players @ 4years
5 players @ 3years
Unlimited @ 2 years
Unlimited @ 1 year
Minor:
4 players @ 5 years
3 players @ 4 years
3 Players @ 3 years
Unlimited @ 2 years
Unlimited @ 1 year

After the auction you will have about a week to sign your players. This is a dynasty so you will have the ability to sign your players for as long as you want. You MUST sign everyone on your team and you MUST use all the of the years that is on the chart up above. This allows you to have your studs for a long term and the duds for short term. The overseer and I will be checking each team.

1.3-Scoring
Batting Pitching
HR W
RBI SV
AVG K
SB ERA
R WHIP
OPS HLD
(On base% +
Slugging %)

2-The Auction, and Free Agent Bidding

2.1-The Auction
For the first year it will be held on fantasyauctioneer.com. It will be a couple of hours to complete but it will be very fun. It is a good place to have it because it keeps track of how much money you used and have left. This allows people not to overbid and have enough money. The salary cap will be $275 for 25 players. Everyone must be at the auction or they will be replaced. Each bid will start at $1 and I think it o increases a $1 each time.

2.2-Free Agent Bidding
During the season you may bid on any free agent. The bidding must start at $1 and it can increase at any rate. When you bid please put the following: Subject-Player Name, Post- Team Name bids $ ends at Time, day. That way it is easy to know when the player is sold. After the season when a player’s contract runs out and not resigned they will become free agent. During a period time there will be a free agent signing. You may bid a $1 on a time for major league and minor league players.

3-Resignings, and Players Eligible

3.1-Resignings
When a player going into a year has one year left is eligible to be resigned and no one else is able to have an extension. The most players you can have to resign are 8. For the first 4 players, you add $2 to their old contract and for the other 4 is $1 added to their old contract. Minor leaguers CANNOT be resigned. If they don’t get called up to the MLB and you don’t call the up and it is their last year, you can’t resign only if they are on your MLB team.

3.2-Players Eligible
Players eligible to be consider being minor leaguers and on your minor league team have to have the following services to the MLB: 150IP and 200AB. RP that serve a full season ARE considered MLB players. Players like Zach Duke or King Felix can be on either team or your choosing. Players over 150IP and over 200AB and are on your minor league team must be called up or released in 48 hours. If not they will become free agents.
