I give Yahoo credit for good work with fantasy baseball – especially for free! But there are a few things they could improve on.
If a good wish list is put together, one of the café mods could email it in to Yahoo … it might result in some improvements.
They do take this stuff seriously. About four years ago three guys from Yahoo visited me at my house (with a video camera even!) and spent an hour talking to me about my likes and dislikes about Yahoo fantasy baseball. In the standings column, offer a filter option that shows changes by the day, the week, and the month in the standings. In other words, I’m up .5 points in RBI, I dropped 2 points in WHIP, my main competitor down 2.5 points in Ks. That would make it muuuuuch easier to assess trends, strengths, and weaknesses and improve competitiveness across the board. Of course they could do that with hockey, basketball, etc., too.
