My wife is a HUGE Cubs fan and even she is getting worn down with all the negatives since Bartman.
On the roty side, Wood's name is definitely one of the first that I'll bring up in my auctions in an effort to get some money spent as long as he hasn't already shut it down due to further injury. If everyone backs off and I can get him extra cheap then that works too--I can either use the K's or trade him as soon as he has a half-way decent game.
We're only immortal for a limited time

I'm staying away from all Cubs starters this year, including Prior, except maybe Zambrano. It's not worth the headache anymore, upside or not.

Definitely not a Cubs fan, I am a White Sox fan. Just what I heard on sports radio in Chicago - minus the Dravecky thing.

Well, that's what most fans think of him. That's how he will be remembered unless he can stay healthy for at least 4-5 years.
