My apologies. I have a nephew named Anfernee, and I know how mad he gets when I call him Anthony. Almost as mad as I get when I think about the fact that my sister named him Anfernee.

Most on this thread have had positive things to say about canada. Unfortunately, the neocons have taken over...

I'm going to go get some sleep so I can get out of my igloo in the morning and then ride my dog sleigh to class.
Believe what you want but know that you are wrong. Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs, as post-modern relativism has infected our culture, but beliefs are one thing and knowledge is another. Show me justified true belief and that is another matter.

Have a good night.

geesh Gruber, we were just playin' with ya.
I'll stop now, 'cus I have caused enough trouble for one night, but how can you start a thread asking for opinions, and then get mad and ask for it to be locked, because you don't like the opinions.

If it helps, I hope you guys get the spitoon back .. .. someday. ;-)

And I'm pretty sure that all that is in Florida is nice weather, a lot of old people in the winter, and the Golf Hall of Fame.

It will be that much sweeter when Canada wins gold again this year...

not sure what you are talking about ..
gold what ? Gold medal ? for Hockey .. :-o
I could see curling maybe, but not in Hockey. Hell everybody knows where Hockeytown is, and it aint in Canada. ;-7

What I was talking about was that spitoon bieng stored at some cheesy Inerstate 10 dive bar, down in sunny Florida.
Isn't that your prized treasure?
that spitoon?

What he was talking about is how the Stanley Cup is kept in the Hockey Hall of Fame, which is located in Toronto.

But what can we expect from some Americans? I would continue but I don't want to be responsible for this thread being locked. Let's just say there are many Americans that know a great deal about the world and other countries and then there are the rest... most of them live in White houses.
