Better than keeping the name Grizzlies.
Agreed ..
How about the Toronto Maple Leafs ..
Now thats a frighting name ...
"we play the leafs tonight" ..
I imagine when the Leafs get taxed out of Canada, like the rest of there national pasttime brethren, we could move them to Montana or somewhere like that.
We could call them the Pine Needles ...
The Montana Pine Needles ..
eeeeeewwwwww scary .... they could even put a pine cone right there on their Jerseys ..

Ridiculous. Canada is the birthplace and home of hockey, and we will defend our stake once again in the Olymipics (remember that last one when both the men and women won gold?). Or remember when the juniors won this year.
You can talk about American supremacy in Football or even Baseball, but pay your respect to a much superior country when it comes to Hockey and think twice next time about posting that filth.

The best thing about Hockey is the Stanley Cup and all the adventures it has been involved in. Maybe it can replace Jack Bauer next season.
My apologies. I have a nephew named Anfernee, and I know how mad he gets when I call him Anthony. Almost as mad as I get when I think about the fact that my sister named him Anfernee.

And I'm pretty sure that all that is in Florida is nice weather, a lot of old people in the winter, and the Golf Hall of Fame.
It will be that much sweeter when Canada wins gold again this year...
not sure what you are talking about ..
gold what ? Gold medal ? for Hockey .. I could see curling maybe, but not in Hockey. Hell everybody knows where Hockeytown is, and it aint in Canada.
What I was talking about was that spitoon bieng stored at some cheesy Inerstate 10 dive bar, down in sunny Florida.
Isn't that your prized treasure?
that spitoon?

This is getting a little out of hand, I wrote that first post in good faith and some of you guys have no right to turn it into a stupid American shauvanist mockery. Moderators, the only solution I see fit is to lock the post.
You guys owe us 5 Billion for the softwood tariffs (remember that little agreement we all signed way back, what was it called, NAFTA!). I like your new isolationist policy: not self-isolation like between WW1 and 2, but imposed isolation by most of the rest of the world. Most of the world hates your guts, America. You should be thankful to have us as neighbours, as we are thankful to have you. It's people like you guys that make me sick. I am not saying that there aren't ignorant Canadians out there bashing America, but we could both use a little less bigotry and more support.
