I like Reyes over Furcal and Rollins myself. If you get a SS that swipes some bases with 8-15 HR power, I want the guy that gets me 60 SBs, not the one with 40....but that is me.

Let me know when Reyes hits 15 HR. So far he is all hype other than his speed.

He hit 7 last year. He is young and certainly could ratchet that up a few more.

So if you rather have Rollins and his 12 Hrs and 41 Sbs as opposed to Reyes with 7 Hrs and 60 Sbs that is your perrogative. They are essentially the same in value, but since their main function on the roster is SBs, I rather take my chances with the guy with 20 more SBs and get those 7 or so Hrs back somewhere else in the OF and therefore not need to add another Aaron Rowand type to my squad.

No Felipe Lopez in the rankings? Have Renteria too low IMO, I think he'll rebound and put some very strong stats up. Julio Lugo is too high, as I doubt the guy will steal almost 40 again.
...Boston papers now and then suffer a sharp flurry of arithmetic on this score; indeed, for Williams to have distributed all his hits so they did nobody else any good would constitute a feat of placement unparalleled in the annals of selfishness. -Updike

I'm a huge JJ Hardy fan and I think he's going to surprise people this year. From a fantasy standpoint I still can't put him over Renteria. He doesn't steal bases and probably at best has 15 HR power, he very well may end up batting 7th or even 8th if Yost decides to bat Weeks 2nd instead of Hardy. If he struggles early he'll probably lose a little bit of playtime to Hall as well.

From a real baseball standpoint I think he'll be the best SS in the NL central (yes better than Lopez), just doesn't translate as well into fantasy.
