Logo Help

I want to make 2 logo's for my fantasy league. One for the league and one for my team.

The league is called: Global independent and I would like to have a pic of the earth as a baseball with Global Independent on it where it usually would say official league.

My Team is going to be named after the New York Knights from the movie The Natural. I am not sure what the logo should look like but I suppose a lighting bolt of some type would be cool.

Any body have any ideas or can help me with this would be great!
