Agreed. It really is a shame that he was such an idiot in his personal life because that kills any shot that he had at the HOF. Over a 10 year period, he posted numbers that could very well get him in (averages):

95 R
37 HR
120 RBI
Those are great numbers for 1 season, let alone 10 straight. He was a dominant player and never gets another thought.
