Everything I've heard says that he's likely to start this year in the majors, since I don't think he's played ball for like a year or something now. he might be worth a late-round pick if you're willing to sit on him for half the season.

According to the Twins website directly, Kubel will likely start in AAA unless he shines in ST, which is quite possible given his potential. Then again, he hasn't played for a while and there's a good possibility that he won't be ready.

As for Cuddyer, he's as average a player as they come... he doesn't really have anything to "bounce back" from because he's always been mediocre. Kubel has loads of potential.
