I think the team is great for a 16-team league.

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

you desperately need a SP behind Zamby, you have no one, also Turnbow isn't enough for Saves becuase how reliable is David Wheathers is if he even closes

Your team is pretty nice for having 16 teams in your league. Very well balanced. Pitching is pretty good, may need another dominant closer.

Good. You have a nice balance across the board.

Relief pitching would be horrible if this where a re-draft, but in a dynasty you just need to wait things out.

One small niggle, could you ot have done better than Wakefield??

Looks pretty good. I'd say that you'd be wise to trade for someone above Weathers, but below Turnbow to fill your second closer's spot. In a 16-team league, not many teams will have 2 elite closers, so don't worry if you don't end up with Nathan or Rivera as your other save-getter. In terms of your starting pitching, I think it's going to be interesting to see how many of those guys perform this year, meaning that they're tough to really pin down in terms of a projection. Contreras, Bonderman, Garland are the three big question marks, but all have things to offer and would really be a boon to your team if they live up to expectations.

Nice team, without a doubt.

Thanks for the help on mine - for 16 team league your pretty well balenced. Tavarez and Lofton (who will have a decent year imho despite any concerns for age) provide the sb you'll need. I also like your staff. I've had a few posters rip me up and down for liking bonderman (granted that's 12 teams, not 16), but i still think he's proven himself to be a great pitcher, and the cavern he calls home helps as well. Overall, i like the roster a lot, and no matter what anyone says, Zambo's the man }:-).

Good luck this season ;-D
