That's a dirty group...you've got 6 guys who are their organizations #1 prospect, and Duncan is NYY #2 according to BA.

Because you might be in a league full of people not to bright on prospects.

Very solid looking list of minors. If just 3 or 4 of them meet their ML expectations, you should be looking very good for the future.

14 team league (20 man majorleague rosters,and 10 man minor league rosters...keep 8 majors, and 8 minors)).... All Veteran Baseball Geeks!
(Key is..any player not drafted in regular Major League draft, is eligible for Minor League draft...and only players with Major League exp. can be drafted in Major League portion...Therefor leaves several "Major League" players available, and gives more options than just strickly straight "Minor Leaguers")

This was from last years draft (February '05)

I had 3rd overall pick...it went, Felix, Delmon, and I took Ian...

Chad Billingsley, and Lastings Milledge 2nd and 3rd...(Was surprised they were still there, but several major leaguers went after I took Ian Stewart, and we all have opinions)

I stole, Billy Butler, and Stephen Drew...(Stephen Drew hadn't even signed, and was talk he would go back to college...so most owners were scared to draft him, because could end up with nothing if he returns to college...)


Everyone has their own strategy... I have been very good at evaluating young minor leaguers in the past few years, but most of all it's LUCK..and I'll take LUCK over SKILL anyday

Ah, missed the part where it was drafted last year. That makes a lot more sense, you did a very nice job drafting for value/upside too.

Very nice squad. I thought I had put together a great minor league roster over the last two years in my 12 man league:

Justin Upton - took the same shot you took on Drew
Prince Fielder
Daric Barton
Joel Guzman
Billy Butler
Jeremy Hermida
Scott Olsen
Francisco Liriano
Ian Kinsler

I really like the potential of mine, but Fielder, Kinsler, Hermida, Olsen and Liriano will all likely lose eligiblilty early this year meaning I'll have to make alot of tough decision.

Your guys have as much upside and only Reyes will be a decision you'll have to make early this year.

Justin Upton wasn't available for us at time of our minor league draft, nor was Alex Gordon..(Who I really like too)

Attempting to make a deal for the 1st pick of this years minor league draft...Would love to snag Upton to go with Drew
